Soutumi in Batswana (contd-1), Anikina Kate's guitar solo Jamiroqai

Soutumi Kundu born in Zambia and lived there upto her age of five but educated in Batswana ((fig-1)where she came accompanying her parents as her father had taken a job there. Subsequently she was graduated in a four years degree course of Occupational Therapy and became a Occupational Therapist in Pretoria (fig-2) . Now she has taken a job in Vancouver, Canada as Occupational Therapist .

Celebration of b. d. of Rupashree (8.12.10)

Rupashree Kundu (center), born in Kolkata, accompanied her hausband, after her marriage, to different places of Africa. She was a house wife. Her husband, Nityaranjan Kundu was a chartered accountant serving Africa. After retirement they settled in Hiland Park, Kol-94. Rupashree has two daughters, one serving in UK and the other in Canada.

Soutumi born in Lusaka, Zambia

Soutumi , daughter of Rupashree Kundu and Nityarsnjan Kundu, is born in Lusaka on 16th April while her father was serving there. She has  specialized herself in Occupational Therapy (http://www.wfot.org;).it/ is a profeesion concerned with promoting health and well being through occupation.She is serving at present in Vancouver, Canada, where she has gone independently without knowing any person there. Now, she has many friends there.

Celebration of first eating rice of Sagnika


Sagnika is the grand daughter of Ranendra Nath Majumdar, one of my senior friend in Hiland Park. Ranendranath Majumdar was the person amongst two  who began to stay in Hiland Park from the date of registration of the deed, 1st July,2003, of the 1st Phase, even when the facilities of water supply and electricity was not available..   

Probably, the senior most guest (84+) amongst the invitees and is a celebrity, Shri Haradhan Banerjee, one of the famous senior actor in the film. Mr. J.P.Roy (centre), a member of the Board of directors of Hiland Park, and Dr. K.K.Dutta (right) are also taking lunch on the occasion.

Casual labours in Hiland Park are also in the line of labour-movement.
 Try to redress their grievances.
Broook was out of drinking water for the day (12.2.10) and the management was in difficulty for the strike organised by the casual labours. The management faced much problems in supplying drinking water by extra man-power.
